Q: Will they rust?
A: No, they are made of aluminum & stainless steel (the only part that could possibly rust over time is the pull-ring which could easily be changed) We are currently working on finding or manufacturing stainless steel rings and pull tabs.

Q: Are they difficult to install?
A: Yes & No, If you've never installed hood pins...then they may be a challenge. The main thing would be to take your time(DON'T RUSH) and when installing make sure that the hood vs. the pin close in at a close 90 degree angle. They are precision, therefore, you may want to have an area performance shop do the install!

Q: Why do they cost more than other hood pins?
A: They are made of aluminum & stainless steel, which are almost more than 1/2 the weight of standard hood pins! They are also, CNC machined, hand assembled, integrated safety mechanism & A\artistic in design. * safety latch is to prevent any unnecessary mishap that occur by not manually latching ordinary hood pins.

Q: Will they go over existing holes from previous hoodpins?
A: They will cover up the most common of hood pin holes ...including sparco hood pins. You will need to drill new holes, but the body will cover up pre-existing holes!

Q: Why were these developed?
A: Well, that's actually a funny story. My friend decided to borrow my car, showing the motor to someone at a gas station and drove off without "manually" latching the hood pins. Needless to say it broke the hinges, bent the hood, broke the window & damaged the $4k paint job. That's how...lol

Q: Is the a Warranty?
A: Yes, it is called a good will warranty, I will personally fix it if it malfunctioned under normal circumstances. Please call immediately and we will send out part or fully replace your set.

Q: Will there be any new designs available?
A: Yes, eventually...we are currently working on several Shapes & finger pulls for release in spring of 2005.

Q: Can I only receive my hoodpins UPS ground?
A: NO, call us and we will ship them at your request for an extra charge at 717-350-2306.
